Before Chadwick Candles, our days looked like most people’s—early mornings, long hours, responsibilities that don’t wait, and the constant balance of work, family, and everything in between. Like many, we knew what it felt like to be caught in the rhythm of everyday life while quietly wanting something more.
We met on a Valentine’s weekend in 2019 over a simple game of pool. At the time, it felt like just another night—but it became the beginning of everything that followed.
Candles had always meant something deeper to us. For Chad, it started years earlier with a single handmade candle gifted by a friend—proof that something small could feel personal, intentional, and lasting. That idea never left.
Then one morning in April, it became something more than a thought. It was a conviction—to build something of our own.
Not someday. Now.
We made our first candles, learning as we went, refining each step. When we shared them with family, we expected polite feedback.
Instead, we heard something that changed everything:
“This isn’t just a hobby.”
That moment stayed with us.
Built by Two Different Strengths
Our backgrounds couldn’t be more different—but together, they formed the foundation of this brand.
Chad served five years in the United States Marine Corps before becoming a field service technician, where precision, discipline, and problem-solving are part of daily life.
Leah has been a professional barber since the age of eighteen, building her craft through creativity, attention to detail, and real connection with people.
Chad is the dreamer and big-picture thinker—shaping the identity, the story, and the visual design behind each candle.
Leah is the creator—blending fragrances, refining details, and bringing each candle to life through the craft itself.
Individually, we bring different strengths. Together, we build something stronger.
What We Create — And Why

Each vessel is custom engraved, designed to reflect the world behind the scent.
Every wooden lid is hand-stained and engraved with our mark.
Inside, a parchment story card is included—sealed with a real wax stamp bearing the Chadwick logo, like something pulled from another time.
We use coconut apricot crème wax for a clean, high-performance burn.
Natural wood wicks crackle softly, adding depth and atmosphere.
Fragrance blends are developed in small batches, refined until they feel complete.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is overlooked.
Because quality, to us, isn’t a feature—it’s the standard.
